美的太陽能空調本月上市
2010年，家電產業(yè)掀起一場場低碳風暴。美的、志高、格蘭仕均在低碳事業(yè)上砸下重金，利用產業(yè)升級、技術創(chuàng)新為依托頻推低碳產品。格蘭仕三月份發(fā)布家電行業(yè)首份《低碳白皮書》，志高空調8月份在變頻空調領域創(chuàng)出能效比8 .36的產品“變頻至尊”，省電高達56%。若按照目前我國空調保有量2億臺計算，即使全部達到1級能效定速空調(能效比3 .6)的水平，如果都換成志高“變頻至尊”，年可節(jié)電約718億度。
美的則更傾向于在太陽能領域深耕，繼今年4月份，在北滘開啟美的太陽能熱水器全國4S店建設后，12月10日，美的推出通過成果鑒定與國家3C強制認證的太陽能空調，包含1P和1.5P兩款型號的產品。美的太陽能空調將于本月在國內市場實現批量上市，預計2011年國內銷量將達到5萬臺。
格力二代太陽能空調明年1月投產
此前，松下、三洋、L G等外資巨頭也在進行太陽能空調產品的研發(fā)和創(chuàng)新。但由于蓄電池壽命短、污染大，各企業(yè)太陽能空調至今難以實現快速擴張。美的此次推出的太陽能空調，提出“以太陽能發(fā)電為主、無縫對接市電供應為輔”技術解決方案，拋開蓄電裝備之憂。
而12月8日，格力推出的供應美國的太陽能空調，部分也要由電網補充。格力將進軍全部由太陽能供應能量的第二代太陽能變頻空調，預計明年1月投入生產。(南方都市報www.nddaily.com SouthernMetropolisDailyMark 南都網)
中山大學太陽能系統(tǒng)研究所沈輝教授稱，目前最新的光伏技術可以讓太陽能轉換效率達到20%，美的太陽能空調使用的是150W功率有效太陽能發(fā)電，每年預計可節(jié)省200度電。
在定價上，美的表示較普通空調價格會高出1000多元以上，大概4-5年消費者即可收回千元投資成本。
太陽能空調多出一塊面積約空調本身3倍的太陽能電池板。一方面安裝上會造成不便，另一方面電池板也會影響建筑外觀，其推廣面臨著消費者認知等問題。
