富士康計(jì)劃在臺(tái)灣建立面板研發(fā)中心

據(jù)上游供應(yīng)鏈消息，富士康電子（鴻海精密工業(yè)）正計(jì)劃在臺(tái)灣建立一個(gè)研發(fā)中心，以協(xié)助富士康日本研發(fā)中心的面板和觸摸屏技術(shù)。

富士康面板研發(fā)中心將設(shè)在臺(tái)灣新竹，并預(yù)計(jì)重點(diǎn)為日本子公司協(xié)助開發(fā)技術(shù)，如OLED。

消息人士稱，該研發(fā)中心預(yù)計(jì)將在2014年初開始試運(yùn)營(yíng)。

Foxconn planning panel R&D center in Taiwan

Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is planning to establish an R&D center in Taiwan to assist its panel and touchscreen technology R&D center in Japan, Foxconn Japan RD, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

The R&D center will be established in Hsinchu, Taiwan and is expected to focus on developing technologies such as OLED for its affiliate in Japan, the sources noted.

The R&D center is expected to start pilot operations in early 2014, the sources added.
